Ms. Tierra Hardin is a practitioner of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, licensed by the state of Maryland. Her focus is on providing her patients with individualized, comprehensive care.
Since 2008, she encountered multiple brain surgeries, Lyme disease, and other chronic illnesses, which led her to seeking other alternative ways of healing. Her discovery of acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, and other natural healing modalities which made a massive difference in her life. Wanting to share the success of her own recovery and help others in similar circumstances, she was inspired to become an Acupuncturist and Herbal Medicine Practitioner as well as a Nutritionist.
She is currently Doctoral student in Acupuncture, Herbal medicine, and Nutrition at Maryland University of Integrative Health. Incorporating her knowledge of natural healing practices with acupuncture and herbal medicine, she guides her patients on their healing journey so they can embrace their authentic natural self.
Before becoming a doctoral candidate, she worked for the Department of Defense, with multiple deployments. She realized it was time to follow my passion and dreams, which is to help others heal from a holistic approach. She is motivated to practice this medicine with integrity in order to be a healing presence for her patients.
Ms. Hardin in a member of the Maryland Acupuncture Society, American Society of Acupuncturist, and American College of Nutrition. In 2019, she obtained a certificate in Integrative Health and Nutrition Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She is a certified aromatherapist and a certified medicinal cannabis educator. Ms. Hardin is also a certified Kundalini yoga instructor and a NIA dance instructor.
